Mini Workshop at Wed. General Assembly on Race struggles in Chicago's Occupy Movement.

Join us on Wed, Aug. 8th, 7pm at  Congress and Michigan Ave, North East corner (under the Bowman (Horse) Statue)

We'll propose this as one of the interactive discussions which have been a big part of the new, more participatory format at our bi-weekly General Assemblies.

Join the forth in a series of interactive workshops featuring dialogue on Race struggles in Chicago's Occupy Movement.

Racial oppression is the biggest elephant in the room that folks keep tip-toeing around! It is impossible to build a sustainable Movement without trust, empathy, and open communication. In short, the Movement can only go so far unless we have a deliberate plan for dissolving racial divides among the 99%. We will host this forum to offer a safe space for this kind of planning to begin
